3M™ heat shrinkable medium wall cable sleeves MDT are flame retardant and protect against mechanical and environmental dangers, providing excellent abrasion, corrosion and chemical resistance. MDT sleeves have greater flexibility than the HDT, our heavy wall version. Installation of these fast shrinking sleeves is easy with little training necessary. The 48 in lengths are unprinted and come standard with a factory-applied adhesive/sealant, a thermoplastic material that remains flexible over long periods under adverse environmental conditions. During heating the sealant softens, bonds to underlying surfaces and fills small voids that might be present. Order in the size equivalent to expanded inside diameter required.
