3M™ metal primer P592 is a colorless primer designed to improve the adhesion of 3M™ adhesive sealants on steel, anodized aluminum and galvanized metal. 3M™ adhesion promoters and primers are applied to a wide variety of materials to assist in bonding. It is a low viscosity adhesion promoter recommended for use. When applied, this low viscosity product promotes adhesion with the 3M™ 500 series polyurethane adhesive sealants and 3M™ 700 series SMP adhesive sealants. Adhesive sealants provide strong, durable bonds that seal against the elements in challenging industrial transportation and construction applications. 3M™ adhesive sealants are available in a wide variety of shore A hardness, open time and colors to meet many application needs.
