3M™ 7000058442 8420 Cold Shrink Insulator, 14.2 mm Dia Min, 48 mm Max Diameter, 152 mm L, 1400 psi Tensile Strength, EPDM Rubber Insulation

Insulate submersible or direct buried dig-in repairs and secondary splices with this 3M™ 8420 connector insulator. It provides physical protection of lugs or connectors that are air insulated and can be used on all solid dielectric cable splices and insulated wires. Use it for connectors and cables that have a diameter ranging between 0.31 to 0.56 in, and with conductors sized 6 to 4 AWG. The EPDM rubber construction is eco-friendly because its free of sulfur or chlorides. This cold shrink insulating product is ANSI certified and RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant for quality assurance.
